Alfred Enderby named “One of Britain’s Best” in the Great British Food Awards 2020
Grimsby Traditional Fish Smoker Alfred Enderby have been named overall winner in the Fish and Seafood category at this year’s Great British Food Awards for their traditional smoked haddock. The awards are a showcase of the finest artisan food and drink from across England, Wales, Scotland and N. Ireland.
Restaurateur, chef, author and one of Britain’s most knowledgeable seafood experts Mitch Tonks, judged the fish and seafood category and commented “This is iconic smoked haddock. I really felt I was eating something unique – moist fish flakes with comforting level of smoked and salt of which were in perfect balance with each other. Smoked haddock of this quality deserves its recognition”
